Microsoft Photosynth
A small, free but amazing program from Microsoft. Take a number of overlapping pictures, from any angle and put them into the application. A few minutes later out pops a 3D version of your pictures. It looks for key areas of each photo and matches them up with the same points in another image, therefore being able to work out where each picture goes and links them all together.
